Scholarship foundation to unveil and dedicate mural of late local legend Kleph Dollaz

(August 2013 – Richmond, VA) The God’s Morning Foundation is pleased to announce the official dedication of the Kleph Dollaz Mural on Saturday August 24, 2013 from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM. The mural will be installed at the Alex’s Thai Cuisine restaurant at 13 N. 17th Street, Richmond, VA 23219 on the wall facing Walnut Alley across from the Farmers Market.

Kleph Dollaz, of the Atlantic Records ‘90’s rap duo “Ill Biskits”, worked with many artists during his career.  He created for, produced and performed with artists such as Blahzay, Lil Fame, Talib Kweli, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Bad Seed, M.I.M.S, Black Moon, D.M.P., Sean Price, Rasco, Littles, PMD, Money Making Jam Boys (MMJB) and Truck North.

The completed mural will be celebrated with a concert held at the Canal Club located at 1545 E. Cary Street, Richmond, Virginia beginning at 8:00pm on Saturday August 24, 2013.  Performances and appearances will feature locally and nationally recognized artists such as M.I.M.S, Bad Seed, Nottz, D.M.P., Jarrad Anthony, Erikka J, Mental Advisory,  QtheProphet, and more.

Please join us to meet members of the foundation, friends and family of Kleph, as well as others that contributed to the success of the mural, including artist/mural designer Michelle Angela from Philadelphia, PA. Reporters are encouraged to attend both the mural dedication and concert.
